Our Story

Atma has been a trusted presence in contaminated land management since 1996. Founded by Glenn Berry, Atma set out to couple excellence in environmental reporting with client service – removing uncertainty from projects and providing clients with confidence and success.

The name, ‘Atma’, means our ‘Soul’. It is an eternal, undivided, universally shared essence – and a reminder of our interdependence with a clean environment and of all those our work touches.

The Atma Team

Atma’s team comprises 10 highly experienced experts and Certified Environmental Practitioners, with 125 years of combined experience in contaminated land. Atma is an employee-owned company, which means our people are directly invested in achieving the best outcomes and maintaining the highest standards.

Atma operates to recognised industry and international standards, ensuring quality, environmental responsibility and safety across all projects. Our A-Team includes certified environmental practitioners (CEnvPs) and dedicated support staff. Our work is supported by comprehensive standardised operating procedures, professional indemnity and public liability insurance policies.
