ESA for due diligence purposes at this site used as a turf farm. Atma suspected contamination of the groundwater in the early stages of the project and recommended a groundwater investigation prior to purchase.

Preliminary Environmental Site Assessment at Western Port Highway, Lyndhurst, Victoria

2005

The large urban fringe farm property underwent a Preliminary Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the purpose of determining site usage and conditions prior to residential development on the site. The site history review revealed that the property has historically been used as a dairy farm and has recently been used for grazing cattle and horses and a site visit confirmed that areas of environmental concern are limited to areas within and adjacent to the dairy sheds, work shop, motor room, rubbish burn-off area and the filled dam on the eastern side of the property.

Atma Environmental conducted a Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigation, inclusive of a site historical review and soil assessment regarding a proposed childcare centre to satisfy requirements by the Department of Education & Early Childhood Development. Upon conclusion of the investigation, no further assessment was deemed necessary.
